Beautiful Day - Inside or Out

Looking out my window, it is a beautiful sunny day. Seventy four degrees to be exact. And I am stuck inside working. Sometimes my real job gets me to work on Saturdays. However, there are downtimes during that time and I can work on book stuff. Today I am working on a couple more videos. The goal is to produce one video everyday, or at least every other day. However, no one really shares the videos. It does appear more people are liking the videos then before, so that is a great step in the right direction. Yet, we need more people to share the video so that their friends will see it, and their friends, etc.

I was speaking with one of our characters in the book last night. She is excited and can't wait. We talked about how important it is to market the book now, compared to when it just comes out. If we wait until the book gets published, it is hard to drum up interest right away. Kind of like how we are doing now. So to be marketing now and finding that things are slow, but picking up, is a good sign. Right now we have time to get the word out as we seek an agent to represent us.

The video program we use to create the videos is HumanPal. Although a great program, there are some glitches. Always happens when a product is new. At the moment I am trying to help them with IT issues in the imaging process. We upload images and then wait for the results as the video buffs. Then the video is created and the images are blown out of proportion and you almost have to start over again. I have by-passed this issue by using the mock ups they love so much, and more or less us the slideshow feature. Takes a lot more time and effort, but I do love the result. More like copy and paste.
